Sad Tails are now Happy Endings!
Charlotte Sure Is Happy Now!

This family saw her on the website and they thought she was adorable it didn't matter to them that she was a little older.  When Mom showed up with her son the first thing she said to Charlotte was  you are even more beautiful in person.  Just what a girl loves to hear so Charlotte gave her the best little pick me up dance that she could.  Charlotte is going to be well loved in her new home.
Monty is Now Lucky...In More Ways Than One!

Monty who is now Lucky is home!  He is with Mac, his human playmate and Maddie, his doggie sister. Mac's family was looking for another bichon mix as Maddie is very old and not as playful as she once was.  Mac wanted a dog to throw a ball with and play fetch, things that Lucky loves to do!  Mac also told his Mom he has always wanted to have a dog named Lucky.  Hence, Monty became Lucky and the name suits him just fine!
Scooby's Super Duper New Family!

We adopted Scooby to Maribel and her daughter who drove all the way from Tampa to meet him.  They used to have a dog like Scooby and miss him very much. They needed a new dog to fill their lives with joy and they picked the right one!  Scooby is 10 lbs of fun and happiness. Maribel works from home and missed having a dog by her side all the time.  She's emailed us yesterday that Scooby is the dog the perfect addition to their family and he already is acting like he's lived with them forever.
Betsy's Bestest Buddy!

Betsy went home today to live with Paula and Steve and their two boys. Betsy will have a doggie brother (an older Beagle) to share her new home with.  Paula and Steve's prior Cocker Spaniel passed last week.  She was rescued from animal control and it was a great loss for them.  They decided the best way to heal their hearts was to give another one a home.

Elsie Has Everything She Ever Imagined!

Elsie went home with Shannon, a single gal who has 2 other pooches and wanted one more to complete her family.  Shannon is extremely knowledgeable and dedicated to the happiness and health of her dogs.  Her dogs are an extremely important part of her life and activities.  Elsie could not have found a more loving home.  She now has a family of her own and lives in a really nice neighborhood in central Orlando.  She is living her dream!!

Dudley's Doin' Just Fine!

We adopted Dudley to a young retired couple who's Husky had passed away.  They walk 2 miles every day and wanted a dog to love that could accompany them on their walk.  Dudley never has to be alone again, will get his exercise in the morning so he can spend the rest of his day playing and napping.  NICE!
Riley Really Loves His New Family!

Riley is home with his mom Christina and his dad Michael!  This young married couple has lots of dog experience and knowledge. Their dogs have all lived to ripe old ages and they have cared for them in their old age.  Riley has 15 happy years to look forward to and hopefully even more than that.  So Riley now lives the "life of Riley" in Boynton Beach as an only spoiled child with a mom and dad that dote on him. His life was at rock bottom and now he's living the good life!
Skipper's Scoopin' Up Some Love!

Skipper is HOME!  He needs a luxating patella surgery on one of his back legs.  We are working out the details of that with the adopter who may pay for the whole thing!  Whether she does or we pay for it, he has a home and will have the surgery in 2 weeks.  We want to give him some recovery time before we fix his leg.  We adopted Skipper to a family from Longwood, who know he's not perfect, but they don't care.  They have made an appointment at their orthopedic specialist to have him evaluated.
Flower's Finally Home!

Sylvia, who adopted a dog from us a while back, wanted to add a second one to her family.  She is an artist whose dogs are her children.  They travel with her and even get to sleep in the bed.  Flower hit the jackpot with Sylvia as her mom!
Benji's Best Friends!

Jose is Happily at Home!

Jose is HOME!  Maureen didn't care that Jose wasn't perfect.  A bald spot just makes him more interesting.  She just wanted a dog to love that would keep her old lab company and go to the beach with them.  Jose fit perfectly into her family so now he's part of her family.

Tyson's Totally Spoiled!

Tippy's Terrific Life!

We finally found the perfect family for Tippy!  A young couple with lots of energy and another Poodle for playtime!  Thank you Pat for saving this little man so he can live his new life with a family that LOVES him!!  He's going to fill this home with joy.
Aurora's Amazing Adventure Ends in a Loving Home!

Aurora, now Buffy, has gone to a new home and has charmed all of the family members.  Buffy never once let what happened to her put her down.  She loves everyone she meets and loves all the attention she can get.   Buffy now has a little fur brother, named Spike, who will now get to run around and play all the time with his sister.  Chrissy works part time and her husband has flexible hours to give Buffy all the attention and love she deserves.
Delaney's Got Da Best Family Ever!

We adopted Delaney to a family of four (mom, dad, daughter and son) whose Bichon had just passed.  They needed another dog to love and fill the void in their heart and home.  Mom and her daughter (pictured) drove from Tampa to meet Delaney and of course, fell in love with her because you can't meet Delaney and NOT fall in love with her!  They adopted her and brought her home to the boys of the family who also love her!
June Just Couldn't Be Happier!

June went home with Susan to be an only spoiled child.  Susan's mother lives with her and will be June's constant companion while Susan is at work.  So June will spend her days on grandma's lap with some short walks during the day, then lots of play time and a long walk when Susan comes home.  Sometimes there's nothing better than being an "only" dog because June gets ALL the attention.  June is the center of attention in a home with two loving women!

Bubbles Is Bursting With Joy!

Libby's Livin' the Dream!

We adopted Libby to a lovely woman from Palm Beach who owns her own Doggy Boutique.  Libby will be going to work with her and her other dog to greet customers and be showered with attention all day.  Libby's new owner is very knowledgeable and applies holistic healing and care to her pets, which were all rescued.  Libby hit the jackpot with her new mom.
Lindsey Is Lovin' Life!

Lucas's Lucky Day!

We adopted Lucas to this family with lots of big kids!  As Lucas started to feel good in his foster home, he became a VERY high energy dog, and although he enjoyed playing with the other dogs, he got a bit rough with the small ones and would bully the big ones.  He needed a family with lots of activity and no other dogs.  This family will be perfect! These boys will keep Lucas on his toes and tire him out.  He is one of the happiest dogs you will ever meet and now he really has a reason to celebrate?watch out!!!
It's a Wonderful Life for Willi!

Dixon Digs His New Family!

Dixon is home!  We adopted Dixon to a family of four: mom, dad and two kids.  The kids have never had a dog before so they were very excited to add Dixon to their family.  Mom and dad haven't had a dog since they were kids so they were also very excited.  Dixon is such a sweetheart with a crazy cute underbite, he won over the family in no time.  Mom works part time so Dixon will rarely be home alone (plus he has a brother and a sister)!

Obi's One of a Kind Family!

Obi's family decided to add a furbaby into their lives. They both are photographers and fell in love the moment they saw Obi's photos.  There's no doubt that Obi is going to have his own webpage soon and will be the star of many upcoming videos!
Scruffy's Super New Family!

Scruffy is out of animal control and gone HOME!  We adopted Scruffy to Lynn and Tim who have two other dogs.  They had a Westie who they lost at  14 years old and also had a Cairn they lost to cushings disease, 5 years after rescuing him from Animal Control.  Even though they have two other dogs, they needed their "Westie -fix" and within a day of posting him on the website, they applied to adopt him.  Scruffy had his heartworm treatment and Lynn met us at the vet to adopt him immediately.  She's familiar with heartworm disease and treatment and not bothered by it.  She'll return to our vet in a month to confirm he's heartworm negative and keep him very quiet (quite a challenge for a Westie) for the next 3 weeks.  This couple loved Scruffy before they even met him.  Now that they have him, he's going to be ridiculously loved.

Penny's Perfect Parents

Penny found her family while visiting our veterinarian about a tummy ache.  Tonya and Dru had seen our puppies on Petfinder.com and had been studying them carefully for possible adoption.  They could hardly believe it when they took their dog Albie to the vet and ran into our pup being fawned over by the staff there.  Hey, Tonya said, that looks like Penny!"

And so it was!  So Penny got to meet the whole family, and it was instant love.  Sweet Albie may have a few small doubts, but Penny will win his heart like she has with everyone else who knows her.  Thank you Dru and Tonya for adopting this sweet girl and for saving several other "death row dogs" on our website!
Lexi's Luck Lasts!

Lexi's "accidental" birth resulted in her being dropped off at animal control with 4 of her sisters.  Her luck changed when our own Laurie happened to be in the lobby there when the little furballs were brought in by the owner.

Lexi hit the winning numbers again when the Martin family decided it was time for their son Connor to pick the next family dog, and he wanted to rescue one of these special pups!  It looks like Lexi is not shy about showing her feelings about this!
Darcy is Doing Great!

Darcy is home!  We adopted Darcy to Carolyn, a nurse who just lost her Chihuahua to heart failure.  She treats her dogs like children, only the best for them.  Darcy will experience a whole new world with Carolyn, but we are confident she'll adjust to the attention and hugs just fine!

Chanel Sure Is Loved!

Chanel needed a home with a family where she wouldn't be left alone very much.  She enjoys being around people and bonds strongly.  Eileen is retired and she and her husband decided it was time to rescue a new pooch after suffering the recent loss of beloved family members.  A perfect match for both Chanel and her new mom and dad!

Leroy's Lucky Day!

Leroy is home!!  He lives in Cape Canaveral with his mom and dad and a Dalmation mix to romp around with.    His mom works from home so Leroy will never be alone!
Cookie Couldn't Have Picked a Better Home!

Cookie's new mom lives in Mt Dora and is retired ,except for some volunteer work.  She has lots of dog experience, walks for exercise and she is a REAL dog person.! Cookie loves kissing her and playing all day! Cookie is HOME!

Jasmine's Just Perfectly at Home Now!

Jasmine is home!  She was adopted by Jennifer, who is a single lady with two male Shih Tzu's that are older boys.  Jennifer felt it was time to save another life so she adopted a new family member.  So Jasmine will have two older brothers who love other dogs and will welcome her into their home!

Sierra's Found a Sweet Mama!

Sierra found a new mama when she met Crystal.  Of the four puppies, Sierra seemed to match Crystal's gentle kindess the best.  Crystal has raised puppies before, but they were big dogs, and she's ready for a smaller furkid this time around.  Sierra is just right!

Tootsie's (now Bootsie's) Terrific Home!

Tootsie's new mom says they've named her Bootsie and she's doing great...especially loving rides in the car!
Sandy's So Lucky!

Graham's Great New Family!

We adopted Graham to a couple with a 7 year girl.  Their sheltie passed 2 years ago (adopted from Sheltie rescue) and they decided it was time to add another family member.  They fell in love with Graham's photos and after a call from the foster mom telling them they were a match, they went to Petsmart and purchased everything they needed for his arrival.  Graham had beds and toys ready for him when he got to his new home!
Cecilia's Super Sweet Life!

This family has always had multiple dogs. They have only two now and it has been strange to the family. When they saw Cecilia, it reminded them of one of their pets that they found wandering the streets and they took her in.  She has now moved on to Rainbow Bridge.  Cecilia is sure to be spoiled in her new home!

Toodles, Toodling To Happiness

Toodles landed at animal control right when Polk County was suddenly over double it's capacity in dogs.  Yet Toodle's timing was miraculously good, because her former owner dropped her on the floor of the Polk lobby at a moment when our own "Little Dog" Laurie was there, and Toodles ran right behind Laurie's legs and licked her ankles. Smart dog!! Beyond all odds, she was at the right place at the right time. This is Toodles at the vet getting bathed and ready for her spay.

But Toodles' good luck was just beginning.  Shortly after her picture landed on our website, Toodles was sighted by a community of dog loving friends east of Orlando.  This is Toodles with her new "sister" Bronwynn.  Besides her adoring family, Toodles will have lots of other friends and neighbors both human and canine to romp and play with for the rest of her happy days!
Cindy (now Maggie) Is So Glad To Be Home!

This couple waited to get a dog for the summer while she was on break from teaching.  They were both excited when they met Maggie.  I got an update and Maggie is in love with her new Dad...she is his little shadow.
