Scout, a Bernadoodle/Schnoodle

Meet Scout! Scout is a 5 1/2 month old male Bernadoodle/Schnoodle mix and he weighs about 14 pounds right now, but he is still growing, and could be anywhere from 25-60 pounds full grown. He arrived in rescue with his littermates when they were surrendered. Scout is all puppy and will need a family that is ready for Doodle exuberance and antics. He will need his forever family to continue to work with him on life skills like house training, leash training and socialization while using positive reinforcement.

His foster mom says, "Scout is a very happy, playful pup! He is very affectionate and loves to meet new people and get lots of attention and scrubbies. He wants to be your faithful companion and will stick close by you when he is not playing with all his friends. When Scout wants attention he will look at you with the sweetest face that will make you pet him and fall head over heels for him. Bella, a Schnauzer/Terrier mix

Sorry ladies, this one is best suited for the guys. Meet Bella! Bella, with the right huMAN will make an amazing companion. That’s right, this one has a soft spot for a man, preferably one who has had dogs before and understands how amazing she is. Bella, a Schnauzer/Terriery/adorable mix is about 25 pounds and about 2 -3 years old. Still a lot of puppy, she can be goofy and she can play a bit rough, nothing sissy or diva about this one! Her foster parents say, "Bella came to rescue after being abandoned at a rental property after the renters moved out. She was found and taken in by a good Samaritan, but unfortunately his big pups and Bella were not a good mix and Bella came into foster care with some injuries and a dislike of bigger dogs. She was very skittish at first and can be highly reactionary to things that startle her. With smaller pups in the foster home, there have been no issues, other than some visible insecurity which have lessened over time. As with the good Samaritan, Foster Dad gets the attention and has been instrumental in calming her fears. Bella has some special considerations that the right huMAN will need to have. She is not going to be the dog that you take to a dog park. She needs to work on her fear of strangers and larger dogs. She has not been around cats or children of any size. Foster Mom believes a cat would be fine, but children are not a good mix with her fear of strangers and her reactions to them.

She will bark to let you know of anything going on. She has a deep bark and would likely be best suited with a house and fenced in yard. She loves a good romp through the yard to burn up some of that energy. She is puppy pad trained, crate trained (good sized crate or xpen) and she is very good about letting you know when she has to go outside. She will get up on furniture, your lap is her favorite spot to be. She would be good as an only dog in the house, but if there are other pups, they should be smaller than her and they will get along fine as she will likely ignore them at first. The challenge is more with the other dogs accepting her. This is a dog that will become your best friend, will guard and defend you, and because of that a special huMAN is needed that can live up to her standards. Someone who will work with her through her reactionary triggers and can rein in her response which comes across as aggressive, then she turns around and licks your hand. She is a sweet girl for the right huMAN. She loves her toys, loves curling up in a chair and wants a lot of interaction with her huMANs. Foster Mom does get some attention when the foster Dad is away from the house, but as soon as he is in the door foster Mom may as well not be there, except to provide the treats, food, and water." She enjoys being outside and loves to roll around in the grass. She is pretty well behaved for a puppy and doesn’t tend to chew things she is not supposed to or get into too much mischief. When it's nap time, Bernadette likes to sleep in the puppy pen away from all the others. Whenever her foster mom can’t find her, that is usually where she is snoozing away. Willie, a Chihuahua mix

Meet Willie! Willie is a 1 year old male Chihuahua mix and he weighs about 10 pounds. He arrived in rescue after winding up at animal control because the home he was living in had too many dogs. Willie was scared and nervous, so he came to rescue. He has settled into foster care nicely and is ready to find a forever home to call his own. His foster mom says, "Willie is a very handsome boy with the most beautiful eyes! He was super nervous and shy when he first came into our home. Now that he has settled in, he is super loving and sweet. He loves to shower you with kisses and loves a good belly rub while hanging out on your lap. When meeting new people, it takes him about 10 -15 mins to warm up. Willie can be very playful at times. He likes to put your hand in his mouth and nibble on your fingers (totally playing/not being mean.) For this reason, I will not put him with small children as it may scare them.

Willie came in with other dogs that he gets along great with but will need to do slow intros if you have another pup in the home.He would do best with pups his size or smaller as bigger ones make him nervous. Willie is not fully house trained yet but we are working on this. He is terrified of a leash and collar so a fenced in backyard is a must while he learns leash training. Update: He gets along with large dogs who can tolerate his “energy”. Recommend a home with a dog buddy to help him with his anxiety when left without his person. He walks very well on leash with his dog buddy. He is very treat motivated and needs redirection with happy nipping and a sturdy chew toy helps his chewing needs. He can now tolerate short stays in sturdy crate with decreased anxiety but would not do well for a full work day in crate. He attaches to his person and is slowly doing better letting other people pet him without immediately running away. Willie doesn't tolerate cates wouldn't do well in a home with younger children due to overstimulation/noise and chewing hazards with small toys. He will put any small found item in his mouth to chew including yard choking hazards so he needs to be watched when playing in a fenced yard." Atlas, a Goldendoodle/Labradoodle mix

Atlas is a 4 month old male Goldendoodle/Labradoodle mix (a double Doodle) and he weighs about 17 pounds right now, but he is still growing and could be anywhere from 40-60 pounds full grown. He arrived in rescue with his littermates when they were surrendered. Atlas is all puppy and will need a family that is ready for Doodle exuberance and antics. His foster mom says, "Atlas is a playful guy with a heart of gold.

He is very affectionate and has never met a stranger.He doesn't want as much attention as he can get but he will give you back that much and more. Atlas likes to stick close to his human and can get under foot sometimes. He gets along well with other dogs and would love to have a playmate or lots of play dates. He is a typical puppy who is curious about everything so he is learning what is his and what is not and no means no. Fortunately, he is a quick learner! When she first arrived in foster care, she was scared and would always be in the corner trying to be invisible. There is no sign of that girl now! She is excited to meet new people and can be vocal about not getting the attention when in the presence of other dogs. She is a typical puppy who loves to play with all dogs, big and small. She can hold her own with the big dogs and lets them know it. As much as she likes to play, she also likes to be held and loved on. She will jump right into your lap when you are least expecting it in an effort to get extra pets. She is house trained on a schedule and is learning how to walk on a leash." Finn, a Goldendoodle/Labradoodle mix

Meet Finn! Finn is a 4 month old male Goldendoodle/Labradoodle mix (a double Doodle) and he weighs about 20 pounds right now, but he is still growing and could be anywhere from 40-60 pounds full grown. He's always near the humans either playing or napping. He sleeps in the typical Doodle style of stretched out on his back against a wall with feet sticking up or stretched out straight. He is often laying in front of the cabinets, closet doors, refrigerator, etc. You can literally slide him across the floor to get him out of the way and he doesn’t wake up! Finn is still a playful puppy that loves to play with his friends in the yard or get into whatever Doodle mischief might be going on when the humans are not paying attention. Otis, a Schnauzer

Meet Otis! Otis is a 4 year old male Schnauzer and he weighs about 16 pounds. He arrived in rescue when his previous family could no longer care for him. He has settled into foster care nicely, but would love a forever family to call his own. His foster mom says, :Need someone to pet? Otis is your guy! He loves you to pet him and once you stop, he will find your hand and let you know you are not done yet. He is a shadow dog and will follow you everywher

e. Otis would love if someone was home more than gone. When you are gone and return, it is a party every time, he gets so excited! Otis tends to bark at new people, but once comfortable with them he's fine. He sleeps in the human bed and you must like morning kisses. He is house trained on a schedule and walks on a leash. If you are looking for a loving dog that wants to shower you with love, then Otis is the one for you!" Aurora, a Shih Tzu

Meet Aurora! Aurora is a 9 month old female Shih Tzu and she weighs about 8 pounds, but she is still growing, and could grow to be 12-20 pounds, but we can not predict adult weights! She arrived in rescue after being part of a hoarding situation and winding up on her way to animal services, when they called us for help. She is all puppy and will need a patient family willing to work with her. Her foster mom says, "Aurora is a ball of puppy energy! She is a curious girl who just wants to experience everything that is going on– right now. Aurora is an inquisitive girl who is excited about anything and everything.

We are working on helping her find her “chill” but so far, she is more "go go go" than "chill". She is very loving and enjoys having toys to play with. She is still very unsure of the leash and will need lots of continued work to gain her confidence on it. She is still learning house training, leash skills and what not to chew but is eager to please and will do well with a family who is patient and consistent. She would be fine with older kiddos, but I would not recommend younger ones for her. Aurora will benefit from positive reinforcement and patience, especially given her small size." Drake, a Schnauzer

Meet Drake! Drake is a 2 year old male Schnauzer and he weighs about 22 pounds. He arrived in rescue when his previous family could no longer care for him. He has settled into foster care nicely, but would love a forever family to call his own. His foster mom says, "Drake is a sweet smart boy who loves to cuddle. Also a couch potato and a lap dog, even with his size! Drake likes to walk in the yard with us and sniff around, but doesn’t care to be out long periods of time.

He is good with other dogs and should have a buddy. We aren't sure about cats.
Drake enjoys walks every morning. He walks well on a leash, but it’s new to him. He likes to bark at people and cats. It will take him a little more practice. He is young and chews on shoes. He stops quickly after being told no. Drake likes to nibble on your fingers while playing (very gently) but due to this he will need a home with children 10 and over as it may make younger ones nervous. Drake listens well to direction and is house trained on a schedule. He prefers his parent’s bed overall, but will take a doggy bed if needed." Copper, a Goldendoodle

Meet Copper! Copper is an 8 month old male Goldendoodle and he weighs about 40 pounds. He is still a puppy and growing, which means he could grow to be larger than 50 pounds. We just want his new family to be prepared for however big he may get! Copper arrived in rescue when his litter was surrendered. He's been doing great in foster care, but is ready for a forever family to call his own. That family must be ready for all things puppy including leash training, house training, continued socialization and learning what is OK to chew and what isn't. His foster mom says, "Copper is a very energetic and playful pup. When he arrived in foster care, he was extremely shy of humans and would back away and run if approached. However, he now comes for pets and affection. He's become more confident, however, it will probably take several days for him to bond with new folks. His adopters will need to respect this behavior and go slowly.

He barks at strangers and new sounds, so no shared walls. He goes into a crate willingly, enticed with a milk bone treat. He is housetrained on a schedule and will bark during the night to let me know he needs to go out. He is working on his leash training and his new family will need to continue this training with positive reinforcement, a harness and a secure fenced yard. He loves to run in the yard and play with my other dogs of similar size and enthusiasm. He ignores my small dogs and he's ok with dog savvy cats. Cooper is teething and likes his puppy toys. Beware he has no discretion about the definition of an appropriate chewable and will munch on anything available. He needs an active, very patient and experienced family, a playful canine friend of comparable size, and a very secure fenced yard (he is a digger). No small children or frail adults, as his energy and puppy incoordination may result in a tumble. Share your home with Copper and help him express all the love and fun he has to offer!" Daryl, a Shih Tzu/Maltese mix

Meet Daryl! Daryl is a 3 year old male Shih Tzu/Maltese mix and he weighs about 12 pounds. He arrived in rescue from a hoarding situation and he is settling into "pet life" well! His foster mom says, "Darling Daryl is the happiest, floofy boy! The only time his tail stops wagging is if you stop looking at/petting him! He's a people lover. He isn't necessarily shy but pretty submissive in that when you call him, he'll only come if you crouch down. Most of the time, he'll automatically sit or roll over for a belly rub! He's nonreactive towards cats and dogs both. However, he doesn't seek either for company. Daryl is fine sharing his space with other animals but if they approach him/his space too closely, he will give a 'warning snap'. Not a bite nor a lunge, just a warning so if your dog or cat is looking to play then Daryl isn't your guy. If YOU are looking for a good buddyand your pets are chill, he IS your guy! He's super gentle, tolerant of most anything (baths, nail trims, grooming, etc.). He's still unsure about sofa cuddling but loves sleeping in the big bed!

Daryl came from an unfortunate situation so he needs confidence, which should come with time and positive reinforcement. He is not 100% house trained, but does ok if taken out often. He walks pretty well on a leash. He wears a belly band in the house because he marks. It may only be because I have a male dog who also marks, but we can't guarantee that it'll stop. He will use a pee pad if you aren't able to get him outside in time, but if you crate him, he won't mess in there as long as you don't leave him inside too long. Crating isn't necessary because he doesn't chew or get into anything! But he likes his crate and it's nice to have one and just leave the door open for him. Daryl doesn't bark a lot, except for when you come home, because he's excited! He's mostly quiet. He is indeed a FLOOF and will need to be brushed every day or two, bathed weekly or so, and cut/groomed every 6-8 weeks, all of which he's good with. Daryl is SUCH a sweet, nice, well behaved, cuddly good boy!!!" He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, microchipped and has had his teeth cleaned. Roxi, a Labradoodle

Meet Roxi! Roxi is a 3-4 year old female Labradoodle and she weigh about 35 pounds. She arrived in rescue when she was retired from a breeding program. Roxi has been working on settling into pet life and is ready to find a forever family to call her own. Her foster mom says, "Roxie is a wonderful dog - calm, quiet, and affectionate. Although no instant bonding, she now wants to be petted and gently seeks attention. She will occasionally wander in the yard and gets along with the other dogs of all sizes. She is not high energy and would prefer to relax inside with her family.

She is not interested in the cats, so felines in the house are not a problem. She doesn't like the crate and will let you know, so no shared walls. I only crate her when trying to leave so she won't escape out the door. CAUTION however, she will bolt out the door at the slightest opening, run like the wind and not come when called. So be prepared to secure the doors! She is house trained on a schedule and walks well on a leash. She would be fine as an only dog or with a companion of similar temperament. Roxie would do well with a laid back, peaceful family. No little tykes in our home, but I think she would be fine with dog-savvy, older, gentle children. Roxie is looking for someone to love and be loved in return. She would be the perfect addition to her perfect home. Could you be the lucky one?" Rascal and Remi, a Bonded Pair of Cavashons

Meet Rascal and Remi! Rascal and Remi are a bonded pair of sweet boys who arrived in rescue when they're human, who loved them very, very much could no longer care for them due to his own health issues. Rascal (silver and tan) is an 8 year old male Cavashon and he weighs about 17 pounds. Remi (black and tan) is a 13 year old male Cavashon and he weighs about 19 pounds. These sweet boys have settled into foster care, but would love to find a forever home and new human or two to call their own. Their foster mom says, "Rascal is a sweet smart boy! He loves to cuddle and get belly rubs. He is a couch potato and also loves other dogs, not sure about cats. He doesn’t care for doggy beds or toys. It’s only the couch for him. He loves talking and he talks a lot! You can get him to quiet down after a minute or so. He walks well on a leash and does not pull and is very calm. He also likes to lay out in the sun. Overall he is a sweet calm dog. Remi is also a sweet smart boy. He loves to cuddle, is a couch potato and a lap dog.

He also loves other dogs, not sure about cats. He likes doggy beds and couches. Remi is learning how to use stairs to get up and down from the couch. He walks well on a leash and doesn't like to leave your side. He does not pull and is calm and very slow. Both dogs are not 100% house trained right now but we are working on this. If other dogs are in the home they may mark at first. They are both good with me putting belly bands on them when I am not able to have a watchful eye on them. Lucy, a Yorkie/Terrier mix

Meet Lucy! Lucy is a 7-8 year old female Yorkie/Terrier mix and she weighs about 11 pounds. She arrived in rescue when her family could no longer care for her. Lucy has a cataract in her right eye, but it doesn't affect her. She is settling into her foster home, but would love to find her forever home. Her foster mom says, "Lucy is an incredibly sweet and submissive lady. She would probably be ok with gentle, calm children over 10 years old. She loves being with her person and pretty much loves everyone. She is not a barker, but will howl and howl when she is left alone. NO shared walls for her, NO exceptions. She needs someone home more than gone because she has separation anxiety. She shouldn’t be left alone on a regular basis for more than a couple of hours and she would need to be in a crate when you are gone.

She walks on a leash with some coaxing, but we only take short walks. It seems like putting on a collar/harness and leash is new to her. She probably would love a little fenced in yard to do her business. She is also good using potty pads in the house. Lucy is a loving little girl who loves her naps, belly rubs and people. I was told she was good with other calm dogs, both big and small. She would be fine as an only dog or with another dog. Miss Lucy needs consistency and calm in her life, could that be you?" Bennie, a Standard Poodle

Meet Bennie! Bennie is a 2 year old, female, Standard Poodle and she weighs about 50 pounds. She arrived in rescue when she was retired from a breeding program. She is settling into pet life well, and is learning how to dog. Her foster dad says, "Bennie is extremely shy and tends to keep her distance. She is so sweet and when you have her trust, she loves to be petted and loved. She is very shy and therefore needs a person or family that is very patient and willing to let her take her time and come to you when she’s ready. She enjoys the company of other dogs her size and seems to take que’s from them. Bennie is crate trained and feels her crate is her safe place. She love being outside in the fenced yard exploring with me or just soaking up the sun.

Bennie is not fond of her leash but tolerates it and therefore needs someone to work with her on that. She sleeps the night in her crate with no accidents. She has only had a couple accidents in the house but if you take her out enough there are no accidents. Bennie would do best in a quiet home without small children or a lot of commotion. Bennie is a very sweet super shy girl that needs patients for her to come into her own." Bennie is spayed, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, microchipped and has had her teeth cleaned. Wyatt, a Goldendoodle

Meet Wyatt! Wyatt is a 4.5 month old male Goldendoodle and he weighs about 17 pounds right now, but he is still growing, and could be anywhere from 40-60 pounds full grown. He arrived in rescue with his littermate and mom when they were surrendered. Wyatt is all puppy and will need a family that is ready for Doodle exuberance and antics. He will need his forever family to continue to work with him on life skills like house training, leash training and socialization while using positive reinforcement.

His foster mom says, "Wyatt is very loveable. He loves to cuddle and belly scratches. He is so smart. He is 100% house trained and knows his name well. He has learned a couple of commands. Wyatt prefers a harness to a collar and doesn't like the collar around his neck. We're still working on this. He is also crate trained. Wyatt is what we call a grazer eater. He eats as much as he wants and then walks away. He loves the company of other dogs and humans. Joie, a Schnauzer

Meet Joie! Joie is a 4 year old female Schnauzer and she weighs about 17 pounds. She arrived in rescue when her previous family could no longer care for her. She has settled into foster care nicely, but would love a forever family to call her own. Her foster dad says, "Joie is a total love! She can be vocal but not a big barker. Joie loves her people and is right there with you for attention.

She’s a follower that doesn’t want to miss anything. She is so darn cute and gets along with other dogs of all sizes. She is crate trained and often just goes in on her own. Joie currently is sleeping the night in her crate. She has not been around children or cats but I believe she’d do well with older kids. She rides in the car in a crate or just on the seat quietly and seems happy with that. She is working on her house training and leash skills but does very well and is always ready to go if you ask if she wants to go out. Beans, a Schnauzer

Meet Beans! Beans is a 4 year old female Schnauzer and she weighs about 15 pounds. She arrived in rescue when her previous family could no longer care for her. She has settled into foster care nicely, but would love a forever family to call her own. Her foster mom says, "Beans is the sweetest lady! She loves to be wherever her humans are! She will follow you from room to room if you allow her. Beans seems to have a little separation anxiety and will bark/howl for a few minutes when you leave so a home with shared walls would not be ideal for her. She enjoys going outside and exploring the fenced in yard with us. She can and will jump over a 3ft fence/baby gate so, the taller the fence the better! Beans gets along with the other pups in the home.

So far she has not engaged them in play but certainly doesn’t mind having friends around. If she had a choice, she would prefer to sleep in the human bed if allowed (beware she can and will jump on the bed even if not invited). She will also sleep in a pet bed in her humans' room. She loves being petted and getting attention. If given the chance, Beans would try to escape out the front door so you must be quicker than her or have a baby gate in front of it for her safety (unless you enjoy running!). Tammy, a Chihuahua/Beagle mix

Meet Tammy! Tammy is a 5 year old female Chihuahua/Beagle mix and she weighs about 22 pounds. She arrived in rescue when her previous home could no longer care for her. Tammy has been confused about her situation, but is trying to learn to trust again and find her forever family. Her foster dad says, "Tammy is a very sweet, but very shy girl. She keeps her distance but still comes to be near you then backs away.

She’s working on trust but is so sweet and loving once she surrenders to you. Tammy has been around dogs of all sizes and is okay with that. She hasn't been around cats or children. She is crate trained, but you have to put her in but is starting to go in on her own. She currently is sleeping the night in her crate and rides in her crate in the car. She is working on house training and leash skills. She will require patience to gain your trust and that will take time. Tammy's so cute and sweet she’s hard to resist. You can’t help but love her!"
